We didn't make it to the annual Sasscer Family Reunion, but we still got the shirts. Thanks, Mom! Dear Friends, Bible Study . Our weekly gathering continues to be a place of learning, belonging, and encouragement. We are still marching through the Gospel of Luke. We recently read the story of Judas betraying Jesus, another disciple using violence (cutting off an ear) in the name of Jesus, and Peter denying Jesus. The good news… Jesus knows and loves His disciples, even when they are at their worst. He calls His disciples to be transformed, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to walk in step with the Spirit. Please pray with us, “Holy Spirit, we invite you here.” We have also recently started a Baptism Class for those interested in taking the step of obedience in being baptized as a sign of their faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus. We are also midway through an Alpha course for women, and we love it so much that we might do it again, maybe targeting youth next. Please continu...

Jubilee experimenting with traditional Māori musical instruments near bed time at the marae D ear Friends, We have been so blessed. And BUSY... these last few months. As I read back over our last update from March, my job drops in awe of the goodness and faithfulness of God.  We are grateful for each of you, and are grateful to be able to share some highs and lows of the past month. Bible Study . Some huge praises! The community house where we meet is going to stay open for at least one more year. This is a huge answer to prayer! Also, we have launched with a new leadership team and we are thrilled to have Dalton, Dominique, and Krystal on this leadership team. Praise God with us! And pray for us as leaders to shepherd this group well. Pray against sin, death, and the devil not to have a foothold. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort and strengthen us in the power and love of God. We have eight families and over 20 kids most weeks in attendance now. Some of our Bible Study...
